Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards Halifax, Nova Scotia. From Highway 102, take Exit 1A to merge onto NS-111 S. Continue on NS-111 S until you reach the junction with NS-102. Merge onto NS-102 S and follow the signs for Halifax. Once in the city, turn onto Barrington Street and continue straight until you reach Brunswick Street. Turn left onto Brunswick Street, and you will find the Old Town Clock at the intersection with Granville Street. There is street parking available, but be aware of parking meters and regulations, which may incur costs.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Old Town Clock using public transportation, take a bus to the Halifax Transit terminal. Depending on your starting location, you may need to transfer buses. Once at the terminal, board any bus heading towards downtown Halifax. Disembark at the stop closest to the intersection of Barrington Street and Brunswick Street. • Walking

  If you're already in downtown Halifax, the Old Town Clock is easily accessible by foot. Begin at the Halifax Citadel, which is a prominent landmark in the city. Head south towards Barrington Street and then turn right. Continue walking on Barrington Street until you reach Brunswick Street, then turn left. The Old Town Clock will be on your right. This walk takes approximately 10-15 minutes and is a pleasant way to see the sights of downtown Halifax.
