If you are driving, Rissers Beach Provincial Park is located at 5366 NS-331, Petite Rivière Bridge, NS B0R 1C0. From Halifax, take NS-102 S towards Bedford. Merge onto NS-103 S towards Bridgewater. Continue on NS-103 until you reach Exit 12 for NS-331 towards Petite Rivière Bridge. Follow NS-331 for about 15 minutes, and you will find the park on your right. There is no entry fee to access the park, making it a great option for a day trip.
Public Transportation
To reach Rissers Beach via public transportation, you can take a bus from Halifax to Bridgewater. Depending on the service, it may be necessary to check the schedule in advance. Once in Bridgewater, you can use a local taxi service to reach Rissers Beach Provincial Park, which is approximately 30 minutes away from the Bridgewater bus terminal.
