If you are driving, Rissers Beach Provincial Park is located at 5366 NS-331, Petite Rivière Bridge, NS B0R 1C0. From Halifax, take NS-102 S towards Bedford. Merge onto NS-103 S towards Bridgewater. Continue on NS-103 until you reach Exit 12 for NS-331 towards Petite Rivière Bridge. Follow NS-331 for about 15 minutes, and you will find the park on your right. There is no entry fee to access the park, making it a great option for a day trip.

Public Transportation

To reach Rissers Beach via public transportation, you can take a bus from Halifax to Bridgewater. Depending on the service, it may be necessary to check the schedule in advance. Once in Bridgewater, you can use a local taxi service to reach Rissers Beach Provincial Park, which is approximately 30 minutes away from the Bridgewater bus terminal. Be sure to confirm the taxi fare in advance to avoid any surprises.

Bicycle
