Getting There

  • Walking

    From Quartier des Spectacles, head south on Rue Sainte-Catherine Est towards Rue Berri. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue Saint-Laurent. Turn left onto Rue Saint-Laurent and walk until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Commune O. Turn right onto Rue de la Commune O, and continue walking until you see Vieux-Port de Montréal at 333 Rue de la Commune O. The total walking distance is approximately 1.5 km and should take around 20 minutes.

  • Public Transit (Metro)

    Walk to the nearby Beaudry Metro Station, which is about a 10-minute walk from Quartier des Spectacles. Take the Green Line (Line 1) in the direction of Angrignon. Get off at the next stop, which is Berri-UQAM. Transfer to the Yellow Line (Line 4) towards Longueuil-Jean-Drapeau. Get off at the next stop, which is Jean-Drapeau. From there, you can walk approximately 15 minutes to Vieux-Port de Montréal. The entire journey will take around 30 minutes and a single metro ticket costs CAD $3.50.

  • Biking

    If you prefer biking, you can rent a BIXI bike from one of the many bike stations around Quartier des Spectacles. Head south on Rue Sainte-Catherine Est and follow the bike lanes along Rue Saint-Laurent until you reach Rue de la Commune O. You will find bike paths leading you directly to Vieux-Port de Montréal. The bike ride should take about 10-15 minutes. Renting a BIXI bike costs CAD $5 for a single ride.
