If you are driving from anywhere in Ottawa Valley, head towards Highway 416 South. Merge onto Highway 416 South and continue until you reach the junction with Highway 401. Take the exit toward Ottawa and follow signs to Downtown Ottawa. Once you are in the downtown area, follow signs for the Byward Market. Major's Hill Park is located at Mackenzie Ave, Ottawa, ON K1N 1G8. There are public parking lots available near the park, such as the Byward Market parking garage, which may charge a fee (approximately CAD 2 per hour).

If you prefer public transit, you can take the OC Transpo bus service. From any location in Ottawa Valley, find the nearest bus station and take the bus heading to downtown Ottawa. Most routes will connect to the O-Train or directly to bus lines that service the downtown area. Once you arrive in downtown Ottawa, you can take Bus #1 or #7 towards the Byward Market. Get off at the rideau stop and walk about 10 minutes east towards Mackenzie Ave. Major's Hill Park will be on your left.
