Getting There

  • Bus

    From downtown Ottawa, head to the nearest OC Transpo bus stop. You can catch Bus #85 from the Rideau Centre or Bus #14 from the Ottawa City Hall. Both buses head towards the Carling Avenue area. Stay on the bus until you reach the 'Carling/Experimental Farm' stop. After getting off the bus, walk west on Carling Avenue for approximately 5 minutes, and you will see the entrance to the Central Experimental Farm on your left at 960 Carling Ave.

  • Light Rail Transit (LRT)

    Take the Confederation Line of the LRT from any downtown station (such as Parliament, Rideau, or Lyon) heading towards the Tunney's Pasture station. Get off at Tunney's Pasture. From there, exit the station and walk south on Scott Street for about 10 minutes until you reach Carling Avenue. Turn left on Carling Avenue and continue walking for another 5 minutes; the Central Experimental Farm will be on your right at 960 Carling Ave.

  • Bicycle

    If you have a bike, you can rent one from a local bike-share program or bring your own. From downtown Ottawa, follow the Rideau Canal bike path south until you reach the intersection with Carling Avenue. Turn left on Carling Avenue and bike west for about 2 kilometers.
