  If you're traveling by car from anywhere within Prince Edward Island National Park, start by heading southeast on the main highway (Route 6). Follow signs toward Montague. Continue on Route 6 for approximately 30 kilometers (about 20 miles). As you approach Montague, take a left onto Route 3 and then turn right onto Chemin Panmure Island. The park entrance will be on your right at 350 Chemin Panmure Island, Montague, PE C0A 1R0.

• Public Transportation

  For those relying on public transportation, you can take the bus service that operates from Charlottetown to Montague. Once you arrive at Montague, you will need to use a taxi or rideshare service to reach Panmure Island Provincial Park, as there are no direct public transport options to the park from Montague. The taxi ride should take about 10-15 minutes and may cost around CAD 15-20.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous, biking to Panmure Island Provincial Park is a great option. From the Charlottetown area, take Route 1 toward Montague, then follow Route 6. There are bike lanes along Route 1, but be cautious as you transition to Route 6. The distance is approximately 40 kilometers (about 25 miles) and should take about 2-3 hours depending on your pace. Once you arrive in Montague, follow the same directions to Chemin Panmure Island.
