Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the nearest major town, Cavendish. Head east on Route 6, then take the exit for Route 13 North. Follow Route 13 for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach Gulf Shore Parkway. Turn left onto Gulf Shore Parkway W, and continue for about 2 kilometers. You will find The Cactus Pot at 1132 Gulf Shore Parkway W, North Rustico, PE C0A 1M0 on your right. There is no parking fee at the location.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, check local bus services that operate in Prince Edward Island National Park. Take a bus that goes towards North Rustico. Once you reach the North Rustico stop, walk west along Gulf Shore Parkway. It’s approximately a 15-minute walk (1.2 kilometers) to The Cactus Pot located at 1132 Gulf Shore Parkway W. Be sure to check the bus schedule for return trips, as services may be limited.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer cycling, there are bike paths available from Cavendish to North Rustico. Start on the Confederation Trail and follow signs leading to North Rustico. Once you reach North Rustico, head towards Gulf Shore Parkway W. The Cactus Pot is about a 5-minute ride from the main intersection in North Rustico. Make sure to wear a helmet and bring water along for your ride.
