Getting There

    If you are starting from the Old Quebec area, head towards Rue Sainte-Anne and walk towards Place d'Armes. This should take around 10 minutes. As you walk, enjoy the historic architecture surrounding you. Once you reach the intersection with Rue d'Auteuil, continue straight until you see the beautiful Place d'Armes on your right, in front of the Château Frontenac.

  • Public Transit

    From the Gare du Palais (the main train station), take bus number 800 towards 'Les Saules'. Get off at the 'Château Frontenac' stop. From there, it's just a short 5-minute walk to Place d'Armes. Head down the slope towards Rue d'Auteuil and you will see the square in front of the Château Frontenac.

  • Walking

    If you are at the Citadel of Quebec, exit the fortress and walk down towards the Plains of Abraham. Follow the pathway leading to the east, which will take you to Avenue de la Reine. Turn left onto Rue d'Auteuil, and you will soon arrive at Place d'Armes, just a short stroll away.

  • Public Transit

    From the Quebec City Convention Center, board bus number 11 towards 'Parc de la Francophonie'. Get off at the 'Château Frontenac' stop. After disembarking, walk back towards the square in front of the Château, and you will find Place d'Armes directly in front of you.
