Car
If you are driving from Temuco, take Route 5 (Carretera Panamericana) heading south towards Pucón. After approximately 80 kilometers, take the exit towards Curarrehue (Route S-61). Continue on Route S-61 for about 20 kilometers until you reach Curarrehue. From there, follow local signs to Trancura River, which is located nearby. Ensure your GPS is set to the coordinates -39.4863165, -71.5467603 for precise navigation.
Public Transportation
From Temuco, take a bus to Pucón; buses leave frequently from the Temuco bus terminal. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours. Once in Pucón, transfer to a local bus heading to Curarrehue. This bus ride will take around 30-40 minutes. After arriving in Curarrehue, you can either walk to Trancura River, which is a short distance from the town center, or hire a local taxi for convenience.
