Car
If you are starting your journey from Temuco, take Route 5, the Pan-American Highway, heading northeast. After approximately 90 km, take the exit for Route 199 towards Lonquimay. Continue on Route 199 for about 50 km until you reach the entrance to Conguillío National Park. Make sure to check your fuel levels before leaving, as there are limited services along the route. Expect to pay approximately CLP 6,000 for entrance fees to the park per vehicle.

From Temuco, head to the main bus terminal (Terminal de Buses de Temuco) and look for buses heading to Lonquimay. The bus ride will take around 2-3 hours, costing approximately CLP 5,000-8,000. Once you arrive in Lonquimay, you will need to take a taxi or a local transfer service to reach the park entrance, which is about 30 km away. Taxi fares may vary but expect to pay around CLP 15,000-20,000.
