To get to Dichato from Concepción, take a bus from the Concepción Bus Terminal (Terminal de Buses de Concepción). Look for buses heading towards Tomé or Dichato, which are clearly marked. The journey usually takes about 30 to 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Tomé bus terminal, you'll need to take a local taxi or a colectivo (shared taxi) to Dichato, which is approximately a 10-minute drive from the terminal. Make sure to tell the driver your destination.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a colectivo from various points in Concepción. Head to the main streets where colectivos are commonly found, like Avenida O'Higgins. Look for a colectivo that has 'Dichato' or 'Tomé' written on its windshield. The ride will take you directly to Dichato and can be quicker than the bus, depending on traffic.

Walking from Local Bus Stop
If you're already in Tomé and need to reach Dichato, you can walk from the Tomé bus terminal. Exit the terminal, head south on Avenida Colón, and then take a left onto Calle Manuel Rodríguez. Continue walking straight until you reach the coastal road (Costanera). From there, you can walk along the beach to Dichato, which is a pleasant 3-4 km walk with beautiful views.
