If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Castro, which is the main city in Chiloé. Head south on Route 5 until you reach the junction with Route 225 towards Quinchao Island. Follow Route 225 to the ferry terminal at 'Pargua'. Take the ferry across to 'Chacao', which will cost approximately CLP 2,500 for a car and driver. Once on Chacao Island, continue south on Route 5 until you reach the junction for Route 226. Take Route 226 to reach the town of Achao. The church is located at Progreso 04, Quinchao, Los Lagos. Look for signs directing you to the Iglesia De Achao as you approach Achao.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from Castro to Achao. Buses depart regularly from the main terminal in Castro. The journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours and costs around CLP 3,000 to CLP 4,000. Once you arrive in Achao, the Iglesia De Achao is located within walking distance from the bus terminal. Just head towards Progreso 04, and you will find the church easily.
