Getting There

    If you are driving from Castro, take Route 5 south towards the town of Quellón. After approximately 20 kilometers, look for signs directing you towards the ferry terminal at Pargua. The ferry ride to Chelín Island is not directly available, so you'll need to take the ferry to Lemuy Island first. The ferry costs around 2,000 CLP per person and departs every hour. Once you arrive at Lemuy Island, drive towards the southern part of the island until you reach the small ferry terminal at the end. There, you can take a smaller ferry to Chelín Island, which costs an additional 1,500 CLP. The total journey will take around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on ferry schedules.
