Getting there

Public Bus

From the city center of Concepción, head to the nearest bus stop. Look for buses heading towards 'San Pedro' or 'Penco.' You can catch the bus from Avenida O'Higgins or Plaza de la Independencia. Once on the bus, stay on for about 20-30 minutes until you reach the stop named 'Mirador 2.' After disembarking, follow the signs directing you to the viewpoint, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

Walking

If you're starting from the city center, you can also walk to Mirador 2. Head south on Avenida O'Higgins, then turn left onto Calle Lientur. Continue straight until you reach Avenida Costanera. Follow the Costanera path along the Biobío River until you reach a trailhead leading up to Mirador 2. The walk will take approximately 1 hour and offers beautiful views along the way.

Bicycle Rental

For a more active approach, rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in the city center. Cycle south along the bike paths on Avenida Costanera. Keep to the riverside until you spot the entrance to the trail leading up to Mirador 2. The ride will take around 30-40 minutes, depending on your speed, and you'll enjoy scenic views of the river and surrounding areas.
