Car
If you're driving, start your journey from the city of La Serena or Coquimbo. Take Route 5 North towards Vicuña. After approximately 60 kilometers, take the exit toward Ruta 41. Continue on Ruta 41 for about 20 kilometers until you reach Bahía Puclaro, which will be on your left side. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating Bahía Puclaro.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, begin your journey by taking a bus from La Serena or Coquimbo to Vicuña. Buses to Vicuña frequently depart from the terminal in either city. The journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Vicuña, you can take a taxi or local shuttle service to Bahía Puclaro, which is about 20 kilometers away. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your ride.
Taxi or Ride-Sharing
If you're already in Vicuña, you can opt for a taxi or a ride-sharing service to get to Bahía Puclaro. The taxi fare should be discussed beforehand, but expect to pay around 10,000 to 15,000 CLP for the trip. The ride will take approximately 20 minutes.
