Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the center of Valdivia, start by heading south on Avenida Alemania. Continue straight for approximately 3 km until you reach the junction with Route 5. Turn right onto Route 5 and drive for about 5 km. Take the exit towards Valdivia Centro, which will lead you to Plaza de la República. From there, follow Avenida Costanera along the river until you reach Helipuerto Valdivia - Vista al Río, the location of Nueva Costanera. There is free parking available nearby.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Nueva Costanera using public transport, start by taking a bus from the Valdivia bus terminal. Look for buses heading towards 'Costanera' or 'Plaza de la República'. The fare is usually around 500 CLP. Once you arrive at Plaza de la República, exit the bus and walk along Avenida Costanera, which runs parallel to the river, for about 1 km until you reach Helipuerto Valdivia - Vista al Río. The total travel time should be around 30-40 minutes.

• Bicycle

  For a more eco-friendly option, consider renting a bicycle in Valdivia. Head down Avenida Alemania towards the river, then follow the riverfront path along the Costanera. This scenic route is approximately 3 km long and offers beautiful views of the river. Be cautious of pedestrians and other cyclists. No additional costs are needed aside from the bike rental, which typically costs around 3,000 CLP per hour.

• Walking

  If you are staying close to the center of Valdivia, you can simply walk to Nueva Costanera. From Plaza de la República, take Avenida Costanera and enjoy a leisurely stroll along the river. The walk is about 1 km and should take approximately 15-20 minutes. This is a great way to take in the local scenery and atmosphere.
