Car
If you are driving from Valdivia, take Route 5 (Pan-American Highway) north. After approximately 50 kilometers, take the exit for Route 203 towards Panguipulli. Continue on Route 203 for about 40 kilometers, and you will arrive at the Volcanic Caves Huilo Huilo, located along this road. Look for signs indicating the caves, as they are part of the Huilo Huilo Biological Reserve. Parking is available on-site, and there may be a small fee.

Public Transportation
From Valdivia, you can take a bus to Panguipulli. Several bus companies operate this route, and the journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Panguipulli, you will need to take a taxi or a local shuttle service to reach the Volcanic Caves Huilo Huilo. This last leg of the journey is approximately 20 kilometers and should cost around CLP 10,000 to CLP 15,000.
