    From Hotel Las Torres, the most direct approach involves following the trail towards Mirador Las Torres. The initial section is relatively flat, leading past Refugio Central. After crossing the Rio Ascencio, the trail ascends steeply through the Ascencio Valley. While the summit of Almirante Nieto requires technical climbing, hikers can enjoy stunning views of the mountain from various points along this popular trail. Note that the final ascent to the Mirador is challenging and requires good fitness.

    From Puerto Natales, buses regularly travel to Torres del Paine National Park, stopping at various points including Laguna Amarga, a main entrance to the park. From Laguna Amarga, shuttle services or pre-booked transport can take you to Hotel Las Torres, the closest access point to the Mirador Las Torres trail. Bus fare from Puerto Natales to Laguna Amarga is approximately CLP 8,000 - CLP 10,000. Shuttle services from Laguna Amarga to Hotel Las Torres cost around CLP 5,000 - CLP 7,000.
