If you are traveling by car from Talca, take Route 5 towards San Clemente. Continue on Route 5 for about 30 km. Once you reach San Clemente, follow signs for Route J-55. This road leads directly to the entrance of Altos de Lircay Reserva Nacional. The drive takes approximately 1 hour, and be sure to check for road conditions, especially during winter months.

From Talca, you can take a bus to San Clemente. Buses leave from the Talca bus terminal regularly and the journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in San Clemente, you will need to hire a taxi or find a local shuttle service to take you to the entrance of Altos de Lircay Reserva Nacional, which is roughly 18 km away.
