Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of San Pedro de Atacama, head south on Caracoles Street towards the main square (Plaza de Armas). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Domingo Atienza Street. Turn right onto Domingo Atienza Street and continue walking. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will see a sign for Ojos del Salar on your left. Follow the path leading to the attraction.

  Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in San Pedro de Atacama. Start at the main square (Plaza de Armas) and head south on Caracoles Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Domingo Atienza Street. Turn right onto Domingo Atienza Street and cycle for about 1.5 kilometers. Look out for the sign for Ojos del Salar on your left and follow the path towards the attraction.
