Head south on Ruta 5 Sur (the Pan-American Highway) for approximately 60 kilometers until you reach the town of Lonquimay. From Lonquimay, take Route CH-181 towards Malalcahuello. Continue on this road for about 20 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Reserva Nacional Malalcahuello.
