If you are driving from the city of Punta Arenas, head north on Route 9 towards Puerto Natales. After about 250 km, take Route 9 to the west towards the border crossing into Argentina. After crossing into Argentina, continue on Route 40 until you reach the town of El Chaltén. From there, follow Route 23 south until you reach the junction with Route 3. Take Route 3 south until you reach the junction with Route 9, and then continue on Route 9 to the east until you reach Parque Ojos del Caburgua. The total drive can take approximately 10-12 hours depending on stops and road conditions. Make sure to check for any tolls or border crossing fees while traveling.

From Punta Arenas, take a bus to Puerto Natales (approximately 3-4 hours). From Puerto Natales, there are buses that head to El Chaltén (around 5 hours).
