If you're traveling by car, start from the city of Punta Arenas. Take Route 9 heading south towards Porvenir. After crossing the Strait of Magellan via ferry (approximately 30 minutes, costing around CLP 20,000 for a vehicle and passengers), continue driving on Route 9 until you reach the town of Porvenir. From Porvenir, take Route Y-565 towards Timaukel. The park entrance is located approximately 29 km from Timaukel. Keep an eye out for the park signs along the way as you approach the area.

For those relying on public transportation, your journey will begin in Punta Arenas. Board a bus to Porvenir, which operates several times a day (the ticket costs around CLP 7,000 - CLP 10,000). Once you arrive in Porvenir, you will need to arrange for a local taxi or shuttle service to take you to Parque Natural Karukinka. It's recommended to book this in advance as services may be limited. The taxi ride from Porvenir to the park entrance will take about 30 minutes, and the fare may range from CLP 10,000 to CLP 15,000.
