Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving within Torres del Paine National Park, head towards the park's administration center, which is located along Route Y-150. From the administration center, follow the signs for 'Mirador Torres del Paine.' You will continue on a gravel road that leads towards the Torres del Paine massif. Park your car at the designated parking area near the trailhead. The hike to the Mirador Torres del Paine is approximately 8 to 10 kilometers (around 5 to 6 miles) one way and takes about 4 to 6 hours to reach the viewpoint.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Puerto Natales to Torres del Paine National Park. Buses typically leave in the morning, so check local schedules for times. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you can either take a shuttle to the park's administration center or start your hike directly from the entrance. From the administration center, follow the signs to the Mirador Torres del Paine trailhead. Note that park entry fees apply, so be prepared to pay the entrance fee upon arrival.

• Hiking

  From the parking area or the park's administration center, you will begin your hike towards the Mirador Torres del Paine. Follow the well-marked trails, starting on the 'Base de las Torres' trail. The trail is steep and rocky in parts, so ensure you have sturdy footwear and plenty of water. The trail will eventually lead you through lenga forests and rocky terrain before arriving at the mirador, which offers breathtaking views of the iconic towers. Allow for a full day to complete the hike and return.
