Walking
If you are in the central area of Valdivia, start by walking towards calle Picarte, which runs parallel to the river. Head northeast on calle Picarte until you reach the intersection with avenida España. Turn left onto avenida España and continue walking for about 10 minutes. You will pass by the beautiful riverfront views. Continue straight until you reach the Plaza Pedro de Valdivia, which will be on your right. The park is easily recognizable by its green spaces and trees.
Public Transport (Bus)
To reach Plaza Pedro de Valdivia by bus, find the nearest bus stop in the city center. Look for buses that head towards 'Plaza de la República' or 'Costanera'. Board the bus and ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for Plaza Pedro de Valdivia. The journey will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you get off the bus, the plaza will be just a short walk away.
Bicycle
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in the city center. From there, head towards calle Picarte and follow it northeast until you reach avenida España. Turn left and continue along the riverside bike path. After about 10 minutes, you will arrive at Plaza Pedro de Valdivia. There are bike racks available at the plaza for you to lock up your bicycle.
