From the center of Valdivia, head to the main bus terminal, Terminal de Buses de Valdivia. You can take a taxi or walk, as it is about a 15-minute walk (1.2 km) from Plaza de la República. Once at the terminal, purchase a ticket for a bus heading to Corral. Buses typically depart every hour or so, and the journey to Corral takes approximately 1 hour. Upon arrival in Corral, follow the signs towards the Fort System, which is about a 20-minute walk (1.5 km) from the bus stop.

Ferry
From Valdivia, make your way to the Puerto de Valdivia (Valdivia Port). You can walk there from the city center in about 10-15 minutes. At the port, catch a ferry that goes to Corral. The ferry ride takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Corral port, you can walk to the Valdivian Fort System, which is about a 20-minute walk (1.5 km) from the ferry dock.

If you're staying in Valdivia and want to enjoy a scenic route, you can walk towards the riverbank and head southeast along the calle Los Robles until you reach the ferry terminal. This will take about 30 minutes (2.5 km). From the ferry terminal, take the ferry to Corral. Once you arrive in Corral, walk towards the Fort System, which is about a 20-minute walk (1.5 km) from the port.
