Start at the Plaza de la República in downtown Valdivia. Head south on Calle General Lagos, which is a main street. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Avenida Francia. You will see the river on your left as you walk. Once you reach Avenida Francia, turn left and continue walking for another 500 meters. You should see signs for hiking trails on your right. Follow the signs leading towards Casa abandonada, staying on the marked path until you arrive at the location.

From Plaza de la República, take bus number 10 towards 'Niebla' from the nearby bus stop. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes until you reach the stop at the intersection of Gral Lagos and Avenida Francia. Once you disembark, walk south on Gral Lagos street for about 200 meters. Look for the hiking trail signs directing you to Casa abandonada on your right, and follow the path until you arrive.
