Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Plaza Sotomayor, take the Ascensor Concepción (Concepción Funicular) located at the corner of Avenida Pedro Montt and Calle Concepción. The funicular ride will take you uphill to the Concepción neighborhood. Once you exit at the top, turn left onto Calle Concepción and follow it until you reach the intersection with Paseo Gervasoni. Turn right onto Paseo Gervasoni, and you will find the observation deck at the end of the path.

    If you are near Plaza Victoria, start by heading down Calle Urriola towards the coast. Continue straight until you reach Calle San Martin. Turn left onto Calle San Martin, then right onto Calle Concepción. Follow this street until you reach the Ascensor Concepción. Ride the funicular up, then exit and turn left onto Calle Concepción. Walk until you reach Paseo Gervasoni, turn right and walk straight to the observation deck.

    If you are coming from the famous La Sebastiana (Pablo Neruda's house), exit the museum and head down Calle Ferrari towards the coast. At the bottom of the hill, take a left on Avenida Alemania. Walk straight until you reach Calle Concepción, then turn right. Follow Calle Concepción until you reach the Ascensor Concepción. Take the funicular up, exit to the left, and walk straight to Paseo Gervasoni.

    From the Terminal de Buses (Bus Station), take a local micro (bus) heading towards Plaza Sotomayor. Get off at the Plaza Sotomayor stop. From there, follow the instructions for public transport above to reach Mirador Paseo Gervasoni.
