Boat
To reach Bocachica from Cartagena's main city center, head to the Muelle de los Pegasos (Pegasos Wharf). You can take a taxi or walk along the waterfront to get there. Once at the wharf, look for boats heading to Bocachica; they usually depart every hour. The boat ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes, and you will enjoy beautiful views of the coast. Upon arriving at Bocachica, you will disembark at the designated dock.
Public Transport (Bus and Boat)
From the city center, take a local bus that goes to the area near the docks, such as the 'Bocagrande' route. Ask the bus driver or locals to confirm the right stop for the docks leading to Bocachica. Once you get off the bus, walk a short distance to the Muelle de los Pegasos (Pegasos Wharf) and look for the boats to Bocachica. This combination will take longer, around 1 to 1.5 hours in total, including waiting times, but it is an economical option.
