Car
If you are driving, start from the main road in Cocora Valley. Head towards Salento by following the signs for Salento (approximately 11 km). Once you reach Salento, continue on the main road towards the town center. Look for signs directing you to Morrogacho Mountain. You may need to park your car at a designated parking area in Salento and then proceed on foot or by local transport.
Public Transportation (jeep)
From Cocora Valley, you can take a jeep (Willys) to Salento. The ride typically costs around 3,000 COP per person and takes about 30 minutes. Once in Salento, ask the driver or locals for directions to Morrogacho Mountain. You can either walk or hire a local guide for a more informed experience.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from Salento to Morrogacho Mountain, head towards the main square of Salento and follow the signs towards the mountain. The hike is roughly 5 km and takes around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace. Make sure to wear comfortable hiking shoes and bring water, as the trail can be steep in some areas.
