Note that the dirt road can be bumpy, so drive cautiously.

To reach Valle de las Cecropias by public transportation, first take a jeep from Salento to Cocora Valley. These jeeps leave from the main square in Salento and the fare is typically around 3,000 COP per person. Once you arrive in Cocora Valley, look for the signs pointing towards Valle de las Cecropias. You can either walk along the main trail (approximately 1.5 kilometers) or hire a local guide who can escort you to the location for a fee.
