Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the center of Guatapé, head southeast on Calle 30 towards the lake. Continue straight onto Calle 29 and follow the road as it curves right onto Calle 28. Keep following this road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a fork. Take the left fork to stay on the main road. After approximately 500 meters, you will see signs for Fuente de la calle del recuerdo on your right. Parking is available nearby but may incur a small fee, typically around 2,000 to 5,000 COP.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Fuente de la calle del recuerdo via public transportation, start at the main bus terminal in Guatapé. Look for a local bus that operates on the route toward El Peñol. You can ask locals or check the schedule posted at the terminal. The bus ride will take about 10 minutes and costs around 2,000 COP. Once you get off, walk back towards the lake and follow the signs for Fuente de la calle del recuerdo, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

• Walking

  If you are already in the town center of Guatapé, you can easily walk to Fuente de la calle del recuerdo. Start at the main square (Plaza de Zócalos) and head east on Calle 30. Continue for about 500 meters and then turn left onto Calle 28. Walk straight for another 1 km, and you will see the location on your right. This walk should take about 15-20 minutes, and it's a great way to enjoy the local scenery.
