Car
If you're driving to Las Gachas from any point in Insular Region, start by heading towards the city of Bucaramanga, Santander. Once you reach Bucaramanga, take the route to San Gil and from there, head to the town of Guadalupe. The road to Guadalupe is well marked, and you can follow the signs. Upon arriving in Guadalupe, ask locals for further directions to Las Gachas, which is approximately 30 minutes away by car. The road to Las Gachas may require driving on unpaved roads, so be prepared for a bumpy ride. Parking is available near the entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Las Gachas using public transportation, take a bus from Bucaramanga to San Gil. Buses leave regularly from the main terminal. Once in San Gil, transfer to a bus heading to Guadalupe. The journey from Bucaramanga to San Gil takes about 2 hours, and from San Gil to Guadalupe, it takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Guadalupe, you can hire a local taxi or ask about shared rides to Las Gachas, which is about a 30-minute drive away. Ensure you have enough cash for the taxi fare, as not all drivers accept cards.
