    If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Bucaramanga. Take the Route 66 towards the south, following signs for San Gil. After about 4 hours of driving, you will reach Moniquirá in the Boyacá region. Once in Moniquirá, take the Vía Gachantivá road. Continue for approximately 6 kilometers until you reach Vereda la Caja, where you will find the entrance to Cascadas la Honda on your left. There is a small parking area near the entrance, which is free.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Cascadas la Honda via public transportation, start at the Bucaramanga Terminal de Transporte. Take a bus heading to Moniquirá. The journey will take around 3 to 4 hours depending on traffic. Upon arrival at the Moniquirá bus terminal, you can take a taxi or a motorcycle taxi to the Vía Gachantivá, which should cost around 10,000 to 15,000 COP. Ask the driver to drop you off at Vereda la Caja, about 6 kilometers from Moniquirá, where the entrance to Cascadas la Honda is located.
