Getting There

  • Car

    From Leticia, drive towards the main road leading out of the city. Head north on the Avenida de La Paz and follow the signs for the main highway (Route 45) towards Santa Marta. The drive to Parque Nacional Natural Tayrona takes approximately 5 hours. Once you reach the entrance of the park, there may be a fee of around COP 18,000 per person.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    To take a bus from Leticia, go to the main bus terminal located at Calle 9. Look for buses heading to Santa Marta or Taganga. The journey takes about 6-7 hours and costs approximately COP 50,000-70,000. Once in Santa Marta, you will need to take a taxi to the entrance of Parque Nacional Natural Tayrona, which should cost around COP 30,000.
