Car
If you're driving, head towards the town of Líbano in Tolima. From Líbano, follow the signs leading to Murillo. The road will take you through beautiful mountainous landscapes. Once you reach Murillo, continue on the main road towards the entrance of Los Nevados National Natural Park. You will need to pay an entrance fee to access the park, which is approximately COP 20,000 per person. After entering the park, follow the signs to Parque de los Nevados, which is about 30 kilometers ahead. Keep an eye out for the markers indicating scenic viewpoints.

Public Transportation
To reach Parque de los Nevados using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Pereira or Manizales to Líbano. The bus ride takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once in Líbano, look for a local bus or a shared taxi that goes to Murillo. The fare for this leg is typically around COP 5,000. After arriving in Murillo, you can catch another shared taxi or local transport that will take you to the entrance of Los Nevados National Natural Park. Similar to the drive, you will need to pay an entrance fee of approximately COP 20,000. Finally, after entering the park, follow the signs to Parque de los Nevados.

For the more adventurous travelers who are already in Los Nevados National Natural Park, you can hike to Parque de los Nevados from nearby campsites or lodging within the park. Ensure you have a good map or a guide, as trails can be less marked. Depending on your starting point, the hike can take several hours, so be prepared with proper gear, food, and water.
