Public Transportation
To reach Los Nevados National Park by public transportation, take a bus from Pereira or Manizales to Murillo. Buses leave regularly from the main bus terminal. Upon arriving in Murillo, you will need to take a taxi or a local jeep (known as a 'Willys') to the park entrance. The taxi or jeep ride can cost between 20,000 to 50,000 COP depending on the distance and number of passengers.

Once you arrive at the park entrance, you may need to hike to reach the main attractions within Los Nevados National Park. There are several marked trails ranging in difficulty.
