The Iglesia de San Francisco is located in the heart of Popayán's historic center, a short walk from Parque Caldas. From the park, walk two blocks east on Calle 4 to Carrera 9. The church will be on your left. The walk is easy and takes about 5 minutes. Popayán is a very walkable city.

From the bus terminal, take any bus going to 'Centro' or that goes along Transversal 9 or Calle 4. Ask the driver to drop you off near Iglesia de San Francisco. From there, it's a short walk to the church. Bus fare is approximately 2,500 COP.
