Getting There

  • Walking

    From the main bus terminal 'Terminal de Transporte' in Popayán, exit the terminal and head towards the main road, Calle 5. Turn left onto Calle 5 and walk straight for about 15 minutes. You'll pass several local shops and eateries on your way. Keep an eye out for the large white church in the distance; that is the Iglesia de San Francisco, a landmark in the area. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Carrera 6, where you will see the sign for 'Centro Histórico.'
