We had a great 4 day trip to the lost city with guide Miguel and cook Ricardo. The views were amazing and we had the chance to meet local people. There are also stops where you cab swim in the river and near waterfalls.

Adventurous trip worth it

It was funny that only me was in the group with the guide. For a moment I thought it was going to be a solo trip. But later on we actually merge with other groups over the camps so even if you go alone is a good time to make friends and have a great time. Mariana, the guide, was very attentive to my needs and very knowledgeable of the local history. She was devoted to support my trip, as it happened that during the first day I got sick, not because local food or water but because I often have amigdalitis, so had fever and throat pain. But wow Mariana was so incredibly taken care of me that I was able to continue the trip and reach the Lost City. She would take breaks anytime I needed, or find me herbs for a tea, or check in the camp shops for medicine. So I’m so grateful to her and TURCOL for how cool and supportive are with their clients. The camp staff are also incredible, the food is amazing, always on time for you meals, but also available for any request that comes. And they do it with great love and kindness. The Lost City is incredible! Huge! And beautifully alive still. Once one reach the city it feels like a great accomplishment. The history behind the lost city is what has made the local indigenous community and the fact that trip is full of waterfalls and rivers to refresh, lush trees and vegetations, and from time to time local indigenous communities makes the journey a total joy. So I totally recommend this trek, be trustful that they are prepared for any of your needs and requests. Thank TURCOL and thank you very very much Mariana 🫶
