Parque de la Locomotora is located in central Girardot, easily accessible on foot from many points in the city. From Parque Bolívar, head east along Calle 16 for about 4 blocks. The park will be on your right. Walking within the immediate city center is generally free.

Local buses (colectivos) circulate throughout Girardot. Many routes pass near Parque de la Locomotora. Ask the driver to drop you off at 'Parque de la Locomotora' or 'Estación del Tren.' Bus fares typically cost around 1,500-2,000 COP. From the Terminal de Girardot, you can take any bus that goes by Carrera 12 or Calle 25.
