Walking
If you are starting from the center of Alamosa, head south on Main Street. Walk approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 160. Continue straight as Main Street becomes Highway 160. After about 0.2 miles, you will see a sign for CO-150. Turn left onto CO-150. Follow CO-150 for about 2 miles. The Sierra Blanca Historical Information Panels will be on your right side, just off the highway. Look for the information panels near the roadside.

From the Alamosa Public Library, head south on State Avenue for about 0.3 miles until you reach Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street and continue for about 0.5 miles. At the intersection with Highway 160, continue straight as Main Street becomes Highway 160. Travel about 0.2 miles and then take a left onto CO-150. Keep riding on CO-150 for approximately 2 miles. The Sierra Blanca Historical Information Panels will be located on your right side. Ensure to watch for traffic when crossing the roads.

To reach the Sierra Blanca Historical Information Panels using the local bus service, start at the Alamosa Transit Center. Take the bus heading towards the Alamosa Airport. Ask the driver to let you off at the nearest stop to CO-150. Once you get off, walk approximately 0.3 miles along CO-150 in the direction of the highway. You will see the Sierra Blanca Historical Information Panels on your left side as you approach.
