Getting There

    From Great Sand Dunes National Park, head south on CO-150 S. Continue for about 9 miles until you reach the junction with US-160 E. Turn right onto US-160 E and continue for approximately 4 miles. After that, take the exit onto CO-159 N. Follow CO-159 N for about 5 miles, and you will see the Fort Garland Museum & Cultural Center on your left at 29477 CO-159, Fort Garland, CO 81133.

    If using public transportation, you may need to take a local bus or shuttle service from nearby towns such as Alamosa.
