From downtown Aspen, the Aspen Recreation Center is approximately a 20-30 minute walk. Head west on Main Street, then turn left ontoOriginal Street Bridge. Continue onto Cemetery Ln, then turn right onto CO-82 W. Turn right onto Maroon Creek Rd, and the Aspen Recreation Center will be on your left. This is a scenic walk, but be mindful of traffic on Maroon Creek Road.

The Roaring Fork Transportation Authority (RFTA) provides free bus service around Aspen. Several RFTA bus routes stop near the Aspen Recreation Center.
