Walk southeast on Sunshine Canyon Dr for about 0.6 miles to the trailhead at 1644-1928 Sunshine Canyon Dr. A single ride on the Jump bus costs $3.00.

    From Pearl Street Mall, start at the corner of Pearl St and 13th St, heading west towards Canyon Blvd. Turn right on Canyon Blvd and head west until you reach Sunshine Canyon Dr. Turn left on Sunshine Canyon Dr and walk for about 1.5 miles to arrive at the trailhead located at 1644-1928 Sunshine Canyon Dr. This is a free option, but it is a longer walk.

    From downtown Boulder, drive west on Mapleton Avenue, which turns into Sunshine Canyon Drive. Continue on Sunshine Canyon Drive to the Lion's Lair Trailhead at 1644-1928 Sunshine Canyon Dr. Parking is limited, especially at the Lion's Lair Trailhead. Parking is free. As an alternative, park at the Centennial Trailhead and walk the Sunshine Canyon Trail to reach Lion's Lair Trail.
