    Driving

    From Denver, take I-70 west to exit 256 for Lookout Mountain Road. Follow Lookout Mountain Road up the mountain. The Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave will be on your right. Parking is free. Be aware that the road is winding and can be busy with cyclists. During peak season parking can be limited.

    Public Transport

    While there is no direct public transportation to the top of Lookout Mountain, you can take a bus or light rail to downtown Golden and then use a taxi or rideshare service to reach the mountain. From Denver, the W Line to the Jefferson County Government Center in Golden is approximately 45 minutes. A taxi or rideshare from there to Lookout Mountain will cost approximately $20-$30. Check schedules and plan accordingly.

    Biking

    Experienced cyclists can bike to the top of Lookout Mountain via the Lariat Loop. The route is a challenging climb with steep grades and sharp curves. From Golden, take 19th Street west, which turns into the Lariat Loop Scenic Byway. Follow the Lariat Loop up the mountain to the Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave.
