Walking
The Golden Welcome Center is centrally located in downtown Golden at 1010 Washington Ave, making it easily accessible on foot from most downtown locations. From the Golden Hotel, walk south along Washington Avenue for about 2 blocks. The Welcome Center will be on your left, next to the Clear Creek.

Public Transport
Golden is served by RTD, with the W Line light rail connecting Denver Union Station to the Jefferson County Government Center–Golden Station. From the station, you can take the free Ore Cart shuttle or Route 17 bus to downtown Golden. The Ore Cart circulates throughout downtown, and the Route 17 stops at 10th & Washington, a short walk from the Welcome Center. A single ride on the Route 17 bus costs $3. Alternatively, from the Jefferson County Government Center–Golden Station, you can use a ride-sharing service or taxi for approximately $10-$15 to reach the Welcome Center.

Driving
The Golden Welcome Center is located at 1010 Washington Ave in downtown Golden. From I-70, take the exit for Highway 6 and head east. Follow Highway 6 to Washington Avenue and turn right (south). The Welcome Center will be on your left. Free two-hour parking is available on most downtown streets and in city lots between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.. Registration at the pay station or online is required, even for stays less than two hours. After 5 p.m., parking is free except in neighborhood permit zones. If staying longer than two hours between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., parking in city lots and garages costs $2.50 per hour, up to a maximum of $10 per day. The Clear Creek parking lot at 10th Street and Archer offers free parking.
