Driving
From Dillon, head east on Highway 6 and turn left onto Dillon Dam Road. Continue until you reach Swan Mountain Road and make a right turn. Follow Swan Mountain Road until you see the well-marked parking lot for Sapphire Point Overlook on your left. Parking is limited, and during peak season, the lot fills quickly. Be aware that only two parking spaces are guaranteed for those who reserve the overlook for an event. There is no fee to park, but a reservation is required to host an event.
Walking
From nearby trailheads along Swan Mountain Road, follow the well-marked path towards Sapphire Point Overlook. The trail is relatively flat and easy to navigate, with minimal elevation gain. The walk to the overlook from the parking lot is approximately 0.1 miles. There are no fees associated with walking to the overlook.
