    The Royal Gorge Route Railroad is located at the Santa Fe Depot in Cañon City. From Denver, take I-25 S to CO-115 S in Colorado Springs, then US-50 W to Cañon City. From Colorado Springs, take CO-115 S to US-50 W. Follow signs to the Santa Fe Depot at 401 Water Street. Free parking is available near the depot. Note that the drive from Denver is approximately 2 hours and from Colorado Springs, about an hour.

    While there isn't a direct public transportation route to the Royal Gorge Route Railroad, you can take a bus from Denver or Colorado Springs to Pueblo and then transfer to a CDOT Outrider bus to Cañon City. From the Cañon City bus stop, it's a short taxi or ride-share to the Santa Fe Depot.
