Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the center of Canon City, specifically at the corner of Main Street and 3rd Street. Head south on Main Street for approximately 0.5 miles. When you reach the intersection with 6th Street, turn right and continue walking for another 0.3 miles, passing the local shops and cafes. Continue on 6th Street until you reach the end of the street, then turn left onto the dirt trail that leads towards the base of the hill. Follow the trail for about 0.2 miles until you see the large white 'C' on the hillside. The Cañon City C is located just above you on the hillside.

• Biking

  If you are using a bike, start from the Canon City Riverwalk, located near the bridge at the intersection of Royal Gorge Boulevard and 1st Street. Head west on the Riverwalk path towards 3rd Street. Once you reach 3rd Street, turn left and proceed south on Main Street for approximately 0.5 miles. When you reach the intersection with 6th Street, turn right and bike for about 0.3 miles. At the end of 6th Street, you will find the dirt trail that leads up to the C. Follow the trail for 0.2 miles, and you will reach The Cañon City C.

• Public Transportation

  Utilize the local bus service, the Canon City Transit. Board the bus at the nearest stop to your location, and take Route 1 towards the Royal Gorge. Request to get off at the stop near 6th Street. From there, walk south on 6th Street for about 0.3 miles until you reach the end of the street. At the end of 6th Street, take the dirt trail leading up the hill for approximately 0.2 miles to reach The Cañon City C.
